- All nine UK PPL theory subject presentations, the full question bank, your progress dashboard, completion certificates and Ask an Instructor, on any device with a web browser.
- How billing works
- Creating an account is free and it starts as Pending: nothing is charged until you agree to start a membership. Membership then renews every month at £25 until you cancel. Pay by card online (handled securely by Stripe), or we can arrange payment with you directly.

2. What you get
Membership gives you all nine UK PPL theory subject presentations, the question bank, your progress dashboard, completion certificates and Ask an Instructor, for as long as your membership is active.
New accounts start as Pending: your account is set up, and access starts once your membership is active.
3. Price, billing and renewal
- Total price: £25 a month per student. There’s no sign-up fee and no other charges. Each student pays for their own membership, including students who link to a flying school. Schools don’t pay anything.
- Creating an account is free. Your account starts as Pending, and nothing is charged until you agree to start a membership.
- You can pay by card online. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Your membership starts as soon as your first payment goes through. We can also arrange payment with you directly, and we’ll confirm the start date and payment details by email before your access starts.
- You can update your card or cancel online at any time with “Manage subscription” on your account page.
- Membership renews every month, at the same price, until you cancel.
- If we change the price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
- If a payment fails or your membership ends, your access stops, but your progress stays saved for a while (see the privacy notice).
4. Cancelling, and your 14-day right
Cancel any time
Email admin@aerobase.uk (or, once it’s available, use your account page). You don’t need to give a reason. Your access continues until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We’ll confirm the cancellation by email.
Your 14-day right to cancel
As a consumer buying digital content online, you normally have 14 days from the day the contract is made to change your mind and cancel, without giving a reason.
Members’ content is supplied digitally. We only start your access within those 14 days if you have:
- asked us to start it straight away (your express consent); and
- confirmed that you understand you lose the 14-day right to cancel once access starts.
You can give this by ticking the box at sign-up or on your account page. It’s never ticked for you. We record when you ticked it, and we’ll confirm it by email when your access starts. If you don’t want access to start straight away, leave the box unticked, and we’ll wait until the 14 days have passed.
4a. Refunds
- Cancelling within 14 days, before access has started: you get a full refund within 14 days of telling us, paid back the way you paid.
- Cancelling later: you won’t be charged for future months. We don’t refund part months already paid for, except where the law says we must.
- If something’s wrong: the law says digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If they aren’t, you can ask us to fix the problem. If we can’t, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund. These terms don’t affect your legal rights.
4b. Complaints
If you’re unhappy, please email admin@aerobase.uk or call 07943 061981. Tell us what went wrong and what you’d like us to do. We’ll acknowledge your complaint and try to put things right as quickly as we can. If we can’t agree, you can get free advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service. For privacy complaints, see the privacy notice.
5. Under-18s
- You must be at least 13 to have an account.
- If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. Usually they’ll also pay. We may ask them to confirm.
- If you’re under 18, your parent or guardian should be the one to tick the immediate-access box (section 4).
- Tick “I’m under 18” when you sign up (or on your account page) to turn on extra privacy settings (see the privacy notice).
6. Flying schools
If you link your account to a flying school with its code, that school can see your study progress, as explained in the privacy notice. You can unlink yourself at any time. How schools may use this information is set out in our school terms.
7. Certificates and what AeroBase is (and isn’t)
- AeroBase is an independent revision resource. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and it is not a CAA-approved course, approved training organisation or declared training organisation.
- AeroBase certificates record study completed with AeroBase (passing our own question bank target: 3 exam attempts at 90% or more). They are not a CAA examination pass, licence or qualification, and they don’t count towards your licence.
- AeroBase supports, and doesn’t replace, your flying school, your instructors and official CAA material. Always check against current official publications. We work hard to keep the content accurate, but it may contain mistakes or fall out of date.
- Instructor answers are general guidance for revision, not operational advice for a particular flight.
8. Acceptable use
- Your account is for you alone. Don’t share your login or password, or let anyone else use your account. To help spot shared accounts, we record limited access signals (see sharing alerts). If we think an account is being shared, we’ll contact you before taking action.
- Don’t copy, download in bulk, resell or republish the presentations, questions or other content, and don’t scrape the site.
- Don’t try to get around the login, break the site’s security, or get in the way of other members.
- Be respectful in Ask an Instructor, and don’t include sensitive personal information (such as health details) in your questions.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Except in urgent cases, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to explain.
9. The content belongs to us
The presentations, questions and other materials belong to AeroBase or its licensors. Your membership lets you use them for your own personal study.
10. Our responsibility to you
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or any liability that can’t legally be limited. We’re not responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, or for problems caused by things outside our control. The service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance.
11. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time by emailing admin@aerobase.uk (see the privacy notice).
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms. We’ll show the date at the top, and tell members by email about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
